5. Background 2. Innovation Fund Administered by CCRep since March 2008 Awards small-project Grants up to $10,000 for Applied Health Research Targets the 6 priority areas in the 5-year SDP. Funding rounds March & September each year with annual disbursement up to $90,000 Competitive and accessible to all CMDHB employees

7. Background 3. Innovation Fund All research projects require ethics approval Maximum duration is 12 months (i.e. June  July, or January  December) Use of funds include salaries, statistical analysis, consumables and other justifiable expenses. Equipment and travel requests will not be funded Final report (i.e. a poster, paper published in a scientific journal, or scientific report) required

15. Review Process 1. Consult (e.g.. Clinical Head/colleagues) before submitting your application 2. CCRep will provide critical appraisal & an opportunity to revise the application to make it acceptable 3. CCRep will provide mentorship 4. Funds are available from CCRep on invoice 5. A final report is required
