7 An important part of keeping mentally healthy is expressing emotions in positive ways.
An important aspect of character is helping a person choose right from wrong. When you have done wrong, to act responsible calmly accept your punishment and admit your actions. Eye color, hair color, & nose shape are hereditary traits Procrastinate – to put things off for later A “to-do” list of homework assignments can help a student decide homework priorities

8 Teenage friends are known as “peers” (people your own age).
A person can improve self-esteem by accepting themselves as they are Character development begins in early childhood When trying to study for an exam or test, minimize distracting noises Learning & study skills can be improved by organizing classroom notes. One who ask questions during note taking or lectures to the teacher to prepare for a test in their class would be showing great interest in preparing themselves for the test. A positive way to deal with stress is to exercise

9 Empathy – understanding one’s need
Empathy – understanding one’s need. A good way to relate to someone who is in need is to experience yourself. Conscience – feeling a nagging or tugging within yourself, especially when you have done wrong. Completing assignments or chores all on your own without being reminded or told is showing great responsibility. Overcommitted – trying to do to much and having no time to complete the jobs that are most important. This can be a troublemaker of time management. Learn to say no at times when you have already committed yourself to other projects.

10 Use a date book to record homework in order to not forget them.
Weekly calendar – is a good time management tool for a student to become more organized and have better skills. Choosing right from wrong is an important aspect in developing good character.
