3 Eyes can be your best look enhancing ornament if you take care of them well.
if you do not take care of your eyes and your bright vision, your eyes won’t sparkle and show your light! Eyes are the windows to the soul they say!

4 Use natural ingredients like aloe vera gel or coconut oil to use as hydrating gel or oil for your eye area. The area around your eye is one of the softest parts of your body. The skin in many times thinner compared to the skin on other parts of your body. So taking care of this part is a must. If you do not want to look older than your age then these are little things that must be taken care of.

5 In case of eye infection or inflammation, put a drop immediately.
There may also be a fair chance of spreading infection if you are not careful. So make sure that you put eye drops and then consult a physician if you show signs like inflammation. Conjunctivitis can be a sore problem and give nerve damage even, if you ignore it.

6 If you have dark circles or if you wish to protect your eyes from harsh glare of light and stress then you must understand that there is nothing to beat it than the effects of 8 hours of proper sleep and tons of water. This will get you rid of dark circles and will also help you looking fresh and young.

7 Cucumber or cucumber water as well as grated potatoes and almond oil are great for soothing the eye area. They help your eyes to relax as well as keep them fresh looking. If you apply them you will notice how much more beautiful and fresh your eyes look!

8 Be sure to take high vitamin A food
Be sure to take high vitamin A food. These include pumpkin, squashes, yams, carrots, mangoes, cantaloupe, dairy, eggs and fish. Some of these should be in your diet everyday to give you great eye sight and eye strength for keeps. The effect of nutrition on eyes cannot really be argued upon.

9 Have more Vitamin A High levels of Vitamin A is a must in your diet if you are looking for stress free vision or are looking forward to cure some diseases or even keep your eyesight last longer and better. This does not mean piling up on Vitamin A medicines but taking them through your diet! What are the Vitamin A enriched foods then? Think of bright orange and yellow hues of vegetables and fruits as well as some eggs, fish and milk.

10 When you have more of fresh and raw vegetables that are rich yellow or orange in tone, like, papaya, pumpkin, belle peppers, carrots, mangoes, cantaloupes, etc. you are sure to receive a high amount of Vitamin A. Having fruits and vegetables raw is a must necessity as well as having some eggs, fish and milk with them. You would also be surprised to know the presence of Vitamin A in greens like cilantro, spinach, etc. these are great food in their raw state to have in your daily diets. The higher amount of Vitamin A food you consumer, the greater and faster results do you see in your eyes’ health.

11 Eye Exercises A several times a day to this exercise to help you keep your eyes fresh. You can do the exercise of visualizing. Simply close your eyes and visualize in vivid details and elaboration about what it is that you would like to have for your self in the future, etc.

12 Sunglasses protect your eyes from sunlight, as bright light is harmful for eyes. While purchasing sunglasses don’t remember their actual purpose and do check the ability of glass against UV factor. Sunglasses protect your sensitive eyes from all sorts of bright lights.

against glares while driving. Now it’s recommended to wear sunglasses while driving at day as it reduce the risk of accidents by improving your vision. Glares are the reflection of sunlight when strikes metal or glass.

14 As we all know multi-storey buildings
and vehicles are made of metals which strongly reflect back light making you unable to see for a moment. Protection of the eyes provided by sunglasses helps you to see clearly and prevents headaches. Special sunglasses are available which reduce glare effect for those who drive mostly.

26 Who can donate eyes? Any one can be eye donor.
Poor eye sight or age no difference. Diabetics, Patients with high blood pressure, people wearing spectacles can donate eyes.

27 Eyes should be removed within 6-8 hrs. of death.
Close the lids, switch off the fans, put antibiotic drops if available. The consent of the family members is enough to make an eye donation, even if the donor has not pledged the eyes in his/ her life time. Inform the nearest eye bank. Tell name, address, location, landmark & phone number. Keep DEATH CERTIFICATE ready.

29 HOW CAN I HELP? Pledge your eyes. Always carry donor card.
Inform your next of kin, family physician and close relatives of your decision to ensure their cooperation. If you are present at a time of death, try motivating the family to make an eye donation.

34 Things To Do After Making The Call
Keep both eyes of deceased closed and covered with moist cotton Switch off the fans If possible instill antibiotic eye drops Raise the head by about six inches. 5 ml blood sample is taken along with eyes for serology.
