Cover Illustration Requirements Requirements: 1. Hand drawn on ½ piece of 8 ½ x 11 in paper. 2. Should be colored with no white showing. 3. There are to be no words on this illustration 4. Picture should be based on the National Geographic movie of Earth’s story. 5. Must be able to match The real story of Earth.

Title Page This should be half of an 8 ½ x 11 white paper List the following / Requirments Title of your book Author of your book Illustrator of your books pictures date created 1. Font of the title will be changed (different from other writing and bigger) 2. List of information will be listed in the center of the page 3. Border will be added around the paper that makes makes sense with the content of the book

Preface On Google search type the following Geologic Time Scale Click on images Choose the best representation of the geological time scale. Illustration and Color Requirements: Must be in chronological order Must have fossils illustrated Label just as the diagram shows This will be full page

Chapter One Precambrian Era ½ page decorative Use a decorative font for words chapter one and Precambrian Era : this must be bigger Illustrate on this page what this Era represents: Foreshadow what is to come: meteors showering earth, water, Theia, Moon Must be colored. No white showing

Under the paragraph, write the web address (URL) you got your information from. 3. Illustrate this process and color Include Words: Crystals, Meteors, Pounding Earth

Use words Crystals, Meteors, Pounding Earth. 6.½ page: write paragraph on Earth formation. Illustration and color. Use words Theia, Gravity, debris 7.½ page: write paragraph on Moon formation. Illustrate and color. Use words Debris, ring around the Earth, Gravity, impact and Theia. Each paragraph written should have supporting information from a scientific webpage such as National Geographic. The web address should be written under the paragraph. Create a coloage page that has all pictures of nothing but Precambrain time events or formations. All pictures should connect or overlap with no white showing. Must have at least 4 different pictures ½ page
