Attention Catcher Examples Interesting Information Dolphins use echolocation, a system that allows them to use sound to see. (Reader’s Digest) Quote Paul McCartney said, “You can judge a man's true character by the way he treats his fellow animals.” Anecdote / Story My cat refuses to drink from a water dish; she will only drink fresh water so I have to turn on the sink multiple times a day to keep her hydrated.

Attention Catcher Source Place source of fun fact in parenthesis at the end of the sentence containing the fun fact. The period for the sentence belongs after parenthesis. Example: Leopard Geckos can grow back their tails (National Geographic).
