8 COUNT NOUNS They have a plural form. (S) They are considered separate and countable things. E.g. A car / Two cars A train/ Two trains NONCOUNT NOUNS They don’t have a plural form because they are impossible to separate and count. E.g. Traffic / light

9 TOO MANY FEW FEWER (comparative) THERE ARE TOO MANY CHAIRS IN THE CLASSROOM. THERE ARE FEW RESTAURANTS NEAR. THERE SHOULD BE FEWER CARS IN THE CITY

10 TOO MUCH LITTLE LESS (comparative) THERE IS TOO MUCH POLLUTION IN THIS CITY. THERE IS LITTLE TRAFFIC THERE SHOULD BE LESS NOISE.

25 1.ENOUGH goes after the adjective. (big + enough) E.g. The apartment isn´t big enough. ENOUGH goes before the noun. (enough + closets) E.g. Houses don’t have enough closets.  TOO always goes before the adjective. (too + small) E.g. Apartments are too small for pets.

27 COMPARISONS WITH ADJECTIVES & NOUNS  AS + ADJECTIVE + AS E.g. Houses are as convenient as apartments. Houses aren’t as safe as apartments. 2.- AS MANY + COUNT NOUN + AS E.g. Apartments have as many expenses as houses. Apartments don’t have as many rooms as houses. 3.- AS MUCH + NONCOUNT NOUN + AS E.g. Houses don’t have as much privacy as apartments. Apartments have as much noise as houses.
