PERSPECTIVES OF OFFSHORE WIND ENERGY DEVELOPMENT IN MARINE AREAS OF LITHUANIA, POLAND AND RUSSIA, 2007-12-13, PALANGA Objectives To promote the off shore wind energy development in terms of: identification of current and planned marine use; spotlighting the possible conflicts; offering the alternative interconnection scenarios; evaluating of economical feasibility; preparing the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment; setting the guidelines for the application for construction permits; The main goal of the project is to create conditions for effective development of wind energy production in the Baltic Sea coastal zones of three neighbouring countries: Lithuania, Russia and Poland.

Next step for development and continuing this activity – to solve energetic problems.
