Resolution paper Prepare a proposed resolution paper which: 1. summarises the climate change issue in your country 2. states a proposal for global action and targets. This paper should be no more than 1 side of A4 and follow a specific format must be seconded by a delegation from another country must be submitted to the UN Council by 11:35. You will have a briefing sheet to help you

Specific format for resolution This resolution: recognises that…(Can see that...) further recognises that… reminds the council that…..(Tells the Council that...) further reminds the council that… This resolution therefore demands that (This really needs to be done...): 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Developing questions on other countries resolutions Make sure you now have: the name of the country that you’ll be questioning the countries resolution paper to read. You have 25 minutes to prepare at least one question for your designated country
