5 Our class went out for a guided tour to the Montemartano spring with a primary school class. A visit to the Montemartano spring

6 We came to the spring...

7 … We waited for the guide who had to take us inside and …

8 … then we started our visit inside joining hands with the children …

9 We entered a tunnel in small groups.

11 This is the new spring and the water pipes coming from the spire roof collect the rainwater which will be carried to another tank through a big pipe. 25 ICELAND, DON’T DISAPPEAR!!!

26 Iceland, don’t disappear!!! Once upon a time there was a small village called Iceland that was in danger of melting because of pollution.

27 In Iceland there was a family: dad Alfredo

29 and their lovely son Angelo.

30 Angelo was very worried because his nice house made of ice was starting melting….so he decided to write a letter to one of his best friends:”Santa Claus”.

31 When Santa read the touching letter, he decided to help Angelo and his family. He asked all the children in the world to undertake to keep the planet clean.

35 In a short time Angelo’s house was in the solid state again and there was a big party with huge strawberry and mint water ices. …..And so the children of Iceland lived happily ever after.

36 Final comments: The children revealed a deep interest in the topic showing a great attention and participation.
