7 The job search Apply for jobs for which you’re not sure you’re qualified Talk to professors, your peers, parents, friends, neighbors... make connections Jobs you may be interested in, may go by different titles Go to Meet the Firms! Don’t give up. Treat the job search like a job

8 Your resume If little to no job experience, focus on your college career (i.e. projects, group work, etc.) Join campus organizations... Join MISA! Take your time, write like you care, be brief and to the point (i.e. use bullets!) Get recommendation letters

10 Interview Tips Take a shower... Dress like you care Don’t be late... Don’t lie Talk, build your brand, share experiences, tell your story, but keep it brief an relevant Confidence, not arrogance Take your projects with you, be ready to speak to them and your role therein

11 Interview Tips Take copies of your resume and recommendation letters Relax! After the interview, immediately send a thank you note Follow up once a week, sound interested, but not desperate (like dating)
