9 Prevention Services  65% of clients using one or more prevention services will see an increased income and/or decreased expenses on average amounting to $250 a month. What we saw was $42 a month on average, or $204,960.  50% of clients securing employment will see their income increase on average by $11,000 per year. What we saw was an average increase of $12,493, or $1,411,780.

10 Protection Services  100% of elderly wards will receive an annual monitoring visit, and action to protect them will be undertaken when indicated from the monitoring visit. 38% of elderly wards received an annual monitoring visit from June-December. 6 guardians were removed after a monitoring visit.  100% of incapacitated individuals in Dallas County over the age of 50 who need a guardian will have one. 99% had one appointed.

11 Prosecution Services  25% increase will be seen in the number of indictments involving elder financial abuse. 18% increase was seen in the number of indictments.  50% increase will be seen in the number of first-and second-degree felonies referred to the District Attorney that have been investigated by law enforcement. 250% increase was seen in the number of first-and second-degree felonies that were investigated by law enforcement.

12 Prosecution Services  100% of all seniors involved in the prosecution services will be referred to EFSC when appropriate for assessment and intervention. 100% of all seniors involved were referred for assessment and intervention when appropriate.  50% increase will be seen in the number of elder financial abuse complaints investigated by the District Attorney’s Office. 66% increase was seen in the number of complaints investigated involving elder financial abuse.
