2 White Rose Resistance Movement
The people who started the Movement were named Hans and Sophie Scholl. The White Rose Movement was a resistance against the Hitler Youth. Hans→ ←Sophie

3 The assassination attempt on Hitler was set up on July 1944 by the White Rose.
Even though the leaders of the White Rose weren’t Jewish they still felt what was happening to the Jews was cruel and unfair. The White Rose was set up in many cities such as Hamburg, Freiburg, Berlin and Vienna.

The White Rose decided to start making leaflets that denounce the regime of the Nazis. They spread these leaflets around to students throughout the University of Munich so they could have more support in rebelling against the German army.

5 Professor Kurt Huber he was one of the many leaders of the White Rose
guilty of distributing leaflets, sabotage of war and treason he studied musicology, psychology and philosophy at the University of Munich after getting arrested he was sentenced to death online.de/unterricht/faecher/geschichte/khuber/bild/kurt_bild.jpg

6 Christopher Hermann Probst
he was another leader of the White Rose he was guilty of capital offense and high treason in distributing leaflets he had a wife and 2 kids with a baby on the way he studied medicine at the University of Munich he was arrested on February 19, 1943 and he was sentenced to death

7 The Hitler Youth. Many of the White Rose members were actually once part of the Hitler Youth. The Hitler Youth was very restricted on their rules and what went on and what happened while you were part of the Youth.

8 After Hans and Sophie were executed, their sister Inge Jens found a journal of everything that went on while they were secretly writing letters to each other and when they were in prison and what it was like. She later edited their book At the Heart of the White Rose: Letters and Diaries of Hans and Sophie Scholl
