Intelligent He was an attorney(1888-1884). He studied in England to be attorney (late 1800s). He figured out how to get a lot of people to agree with him about the government.

Persistent He was arrested 2 times,(1924) (1942-1944),but he still kept going. The British government against him,but he still kept going.

Non-Violent Held non-violent protests(1922-1942). Refused to hurt anyone during his protests.
