3. Intelligent  He was an attorney(1888-1884).  He studied in England to be attorney (late 1800s).  He figured out how to get a lot of people to agree with him about the government.

4. Persistent  He was arrested 2 times,(1924) (1942-1944),but he still kept going.  The British government against him,but he still kept going.

5. Non-Violent  Held non-violent protests(1922-1942).  Refused to hurt anyone during his protests.
