Mid-November - County mails notice of proposed property tax December 14 - Council holds public hearing on proposed 2010 Budget and Tax Levy and adopts the final 2010 Budget and Tax Levy By December 28 - City certifies final 2010 Tax Levy and Budget to County Auditor

City of Lino Lakes Major Factors in 2010 City of Lino Lakes budget includes: –Reduction of 5 FTE Positions –Wage freeze for all city employees –Unpaid Furloughs for employees in City Hall and Pubic Services & wage reduction for elected officials –Public Safety Grant to maintain police levels –Amounts for capital needs - capital equipment, office equipment, computers, etc. –Amounts for street maintenance and Storm Drainage maintenance projects –Contingency for unknowns
