13
Business Development (for Providers) To help individual providers keep up-to-date with business opportunities and other developments in the marketplace affecting their businesses, in order to help ensure the continuing viability of their businesses (through information provision, network meetings, specific advice etc). Supporting business development through leadership and management development. Business Plan
14
Workforce Development (for Providers and Staff) To supply information to providers and act as a broker for opportunities to obtain workforce development support (workforce planning, recruitment, staff training, personal development, new job roles and career progression and retention). In addition, to procure funding for providers to support this (through SCC & other sources like Skills for Care) Business Plan
15
Improving Outcomes (for Services users, their Carers/ Relatives etc.) To work with providers, and organisations supporting service users and carers, to champion their interests and promote their well- being and outcomes. To support development of new facilities and support in the community, and initiatives to provide improved assistance and support for carers and relatives eg respite and community based support.
