YSS West Mercia AIM Project Key features Targeting those furthest away from employment including PPO’s, Young Adults, Women and Ex military personnel Personalised 121 outreach support, home visits, 24 hour helpline, mentoring and access to specialist support services in-house within YSS across the 7 reducing reoffending pathways Direct support and interventions offered to key family members of each ex-offender Co-working arrangements with a Families Intervention Project (FIP) through matched funding arrangements with the Local Authority Employment opportunities being developed through a YSS trading arm in catering, construction, horticulture and through a specialist YSS employment agency service The AIM Partnership ‘Working Futures’

HIT Holistic Intervention & Training Pilot 2 (Urban) Multi-Faceted project that includes; Peer Mentoring, Employment Mentoring, Social Enterprise development and sheltered employment. Raising individual aspirations and equipping participants with the skills they need to compete for jobs and training opportunities. At grassroots across the NOMS Pathways - Measuring the tangible impact of 3 rd party interventions on re-offending. Providing a “personalised conduit” into support services for the participant. Introducing the Employer Mentor role - a dedicated contact and clear line of information & support for employers. The AIM Partnership ‘Working Futures’

Progress Against Research Reduce re-offending through the Social & Business Enterprise Journey Offenders to work for, volunteer with, incubate future career within or even start Social Enterprises through awareness and support Increasing knowledge and access to social enterprise support in the network Increasing knowledge of key stakeholders of enterprise start-up and social enterprise Increasing knowledge base of existing social enterprises to offender support requirements Developing new or existing social enterprises to fill identified gaps in offender support Further develop the CATs system to support the journey and incorporate concepts and/or opportunities of the Virtual Campus The AIM Partnership ‘Working Futures’
