EVERFI IN SOUTH CAROLINA Used by CTE teachers, Social Studies (Economics), Math, Health, and PE teachers Recognized by Governor Haley as a Financial Literacy resource through DOE 2,789 students are currently using one of EverFi’s platforms this school year 186 teachers are using one of EverFi’s platforms with their students this school year 8,789 modules have been completed by SC students this school year 98% of teachers think EverFi provides valuable personal financial education to their students 82% of students believe that EverFi should be a required course at their school

Investing Real-Life Simulations: Students apply their learning in virtual environments to weigh the consequences of their decisions. EVERFI™ – FINANCIAL LITERACY

OVERVIEW Target Audience: 4-6 th grade students Standards: State and National Jump- $tart Standards for Personal Financial Literacy School Placement: Required Course Behavior and Attitudinal Assessments: Pre & Post Module Time: Approximately 2.5 hours SIX LEARNING GROUPS 1.Responsible Money Choices: saving vs. spending, financial resources, goal-setting 2.Income and Careers: jobs, compensation, career planning, taxes 3.Making Plans with Money: budgets, payment methods, impulse buying, charity 4.Credit and Borrowing: credit and responsible borrowing 5.Insurance and Safety: risk prevention, health insurance 6.Savings and Investing: savings accounts, basic investments Games: Users also unlock two games per group as they progress through the course. OVERVIEW Target Audience: All 9 th grade students (Parents Course Included) Standards: State and National Standards for Health School Placement: Required Course – Health, Science, Transitions Behavior and Attitudinal Assessments: Pre, Post & 30-day Follow Up Surveys Time: Approximately 2 hours ALCOHOLEDU® FOR HIGH SCHOOL NINE LEARNING MODULES 1.School—Standard drink measurement 2.Pizza Place—Myths and facts about alcohol, accurate social norms data 3.TV Station—Alcohol expectancies, influences and community issues 4.Movie Theater—Blood alcohol concentration 5.Research Lab—Brain and body science 6.Friend’s House—Peer pressure and decision-making 7.Newspaper—Addiction and community impact of alcohol 8.Town Hall—Underage drinking laws, policies, and social host liability 9.My House—Tips for talking to parents, setting personal goals
