The Opportunity The HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management in defined departments. In this role the HRBP serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues. The HRBP will also act as employee champion and change agent. In the day to day business, the HRBP continuously assesses and anticipates HR related needs, therefore the HR BP: works directly with department and people managers. participates actively in departmental meetings, covering HR subjects. acts as the first point of contact for associates asking for HR assistance and support. ensure HR policies, internal procedures and important labor law aspects are understood and followed. actively works on performance management related tasks, Recruitment, Salary planning and other HR projects/assignments. ensures all administrative requirements are dealt with in ‘excellence’ (staffing, job offers, employment contracts, certificates...). This part amounts for 60% of the time. maintains & updates various HR databases. To join our team you will need: Education: The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree specialized in Business Administration or Human Resources. Master’s degree will be considered as an asset. Languages: The candidate must be fluent, both speaking and writing, in English, French and German. Experience: The candidate should preferably have working experiences & knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations and performance management. Skills & Qualifications: Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels. Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results. Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation. Be self-directed and motivated. Excellent client management and business literacy skills/ consulting skills Strong conflict management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good knowledge of Luxemburgish labor law. Strong analytical skills with ability to gather, extract and analyze data. Excellent listening and communication skills. Customer focus & mindset. High level of initiative, creativity, perseverance and flexibility. Able to influence people and take decision. Well organized and pro-active.
