The Muses: they had the ability to lie and deceive people although they didn’t do it often.

9. Description
Zeus: God of the sky and also the most powerful of all the gods who falls in love time after time while trying to hide it from his wife.
Europa: Daughter of the King of Sidon who Zeus falls in love with.
Io: Princess of Argos and daughter of Inachus who Zeus falls in love with.
The Muses: Nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne who think as one and their hearts are set upon song and their spirit is free from care.

10. Important Events
Zeus: Kills his father Cronus and becomes supreme leader of the gods. He has many affairs with different women.
Europa: Zeus falls in love with her and against her will he has an affair with her.
Io: Zeus falls in love with her and against her will he has an affair with her. Hera was angry with her so she made her a slave of Argus but when she escaped, Hera sent a Gad-fly after her which kept her on the run for many years. Eventually she would reach the Nile and get turned back into her human form.
The Muses: Zeus and Mnemosyne had the nine daughters who were labeled The Muses, who were converted to one mind and heart.

11. Allusions
Zeus- The Lincoln memorial in Washington, D.C. is based off of the monument to Zeus in Greece.
Europa- Metamorphoses a poem by the poet Ovid, depicts her experience with Zeus.
Io- She was portrayed in the 2010 film Clash of the Titans.
The Muses- In the season four Simpsons episode, Treehouse of Horror III, Martin Prince dresses as Calliope during the Simpsons' Halloween party.
