3 Try your best, as early as you can, to hook your learners in emotionally. If you do, you'll have an audience that's attentive, excited, curious. But if you don't, you risk them just going through the motions, doing as little as they can get away with, and getting distracted by other things. So how do you accomplish this? First off, you can make clear just how much they can benefit from what you've got to say – in other words, what's in it for them. You might also make them aware of the risks – what might just happen if they don't take any notice. You might find a little humour helps or maybe a touch of drama. Whatever you do, keep it relevant and don't overdo it – just make sure you hook those learners in... emotionally. Gain Attention -Hook learners in emotionally
