Reminders 2014-15 Contracts ◦ Consultants and Public Health Nutritionists are working on approving them. ◦ Did you get the message that your contract was successfully submitted? If no, please go back in and click through the contract to re-submit. ◦ October 30, 2014 is deadline to submit your August claim Annual Financial Report – Was due 8/31/2014 Direct Certification should have been run at least once 7

2014 Equipment Assistance Grant Priority will be for schools participating in the NSLP that have ≥50% of enrolled students eligible for free and reduced meals. School that received equipment grant funding from the 2009 ARRA grant or the 2010 Equipment grant are not eligible for this grant. Grant application materials will be released later in October.

Foodservice Equipment Preapproval Process Future equipment purchases that exceed the SFA’s capitalization threshold or $5,000, whichever is less will need State Agency approval. DPI is developing the procedures for incorporating these steps into your procurement process. We will provide more guidance in October. Equipment purchases made prior to SNT mailing with new preapproval policy are not affected.
