7. Daycares/schools Bookmobiles also visit daycares and specialty schools, bringing education and laughter together by putting on a story times and puppet shows. Insert pictures of children reading

8. Dogs in the library Another outreach program the library offers is “dogs in the library” – Insert picture of kids reading to dogs. Working with volunteers and animal services, dogs are brought into the library to be played with and read to. – Insert pictures of kids and dogs This allows the children to practice reading and social skills in no pressure atmosphere. – Insert pictures – Change music This program also enhances excitement about reading and has shown to be particularly useful for troubled readers (dyslexic ect..) – Insert picture

10. Conclusions The public library offers outreach programs that will bring the resources of the library to the community who aren’t able to make it to the library. The library goal is to make a difference and help the community meet their needs. Outreach programs such as these are essential for community growth.

12. Additional changes: As per requested on some of my feedback I adjusted a few slides to be longer to allow more time to read, and a couple to be shorter (ones that were simply pictures) I also amended a couple other grammatical and spelling errors.
