6. LACNIC XII meeting Held in Panama City, from May 24 th – 29 th, 2009 More than 300 persons from 40 different economies Tutorials (IPv6, BGP, CSIRTs, IXP) AMPARO project was presented: Oriented to provide training and promote the creation of Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs)

12. +RAICES Project Objective is the installation of up to seven copies of the F root Server in LAC region. Sint Maarten, Netherlands Antilles, July 9, 2009. 1st root server in the Caribbean, 6th in the LAC region ISC, LACNIC and OC-IX
