Stapling Policy Any misuse of staplers will lead to a mandatory after school detention on the day of misuse. A parent/guardian will be notified by 3:05 that you will be staying after. Misuse includes using the stapler as a weapon, fighting over the stapler, intentionally jamming the stapler, or drawing on the stapler.

If you do this… what’s going to happen? One purpose of government is MAINTAINING SOCIAL ORDER… The government does this by making laws that protect the community and enforcing them.

Another purpose of government is PROTECTING INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS!
Of course, sometimes the gov’t does a pretty bad job of it… The government is supposed to stand up for people’s rights when they can’t stand up for themselves….

The government collects taxes from citizens, but it uses that money to provide services to benefit the community… Things Like: Public Transportation & Public Schools
