Job Ready Qualifications NVQ/SVQ Preparation for Work Qualifications VRQ Candidates must be assessed on paying clients Candidates may be assessed on manikins or other simulated body parts, models, peers from the same teaching group and non-paying clients Assessments must be completed within maximum service times Assessment do not have to be completed within maximum service times Must be assessed in a genuine workplace or approved Realistic Working Environment (RWE) Can be assessed in Realistic Learning Environment (RLE) No simulated assessment, apart from agreed contingency performance criteria Assessment permitted under simulated conditions If not employed status, must have completed a minimum amount of structured work experience, linking to the learning outcomes of the qualification Limited or no work experience Assessment must cover the full range of situations described in the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the subject area Restricted or limited range of situations Qualification has NVQ in the title, if on the QCF
