Implementation plans outlining key roles and responsibilities for senior managers, curriculum leaders and practitioners. 7

8. Literacy Qualifications
At SCQF levels 3 and 4, literacy will be included within the English qualifications.
At SCQF level 5, aspects of literacy will be included within the English qualifications.
Free standing units in literacy will also be available units at all levels
Available from 2013/14 8

9. Additional Support Needs
Comprehensive Literacy and Dyslexia guidelines
All pupils screened based on Standardised tests
Further assessments carried out
Identification of additional support eg. Support through ICT, extracted reading groups, learning support/assistant time in class, guidance for staff in approaches to learning and teaching
Integrated working across a range of disciplines supporting literacy eg. Speech and language, psychological services, support for learning 9
