35 Find and Document Your Resources Books…Title, Author, Date, Publisher Magazines…Magazine Name, Date, Article Name, Author, Page Number Internet…Site address, article name, author, date updated Encyclopedia…Name, Date, Volume, Page number Personal Interviews…Name, Date

36 Organize Your Material Keep track of sources ALL the time. Write out interesting items when you see them. Copy and paste items like pictures, sources,dates. Proof read all data.

37 Your report must include: Name When and where was your artist born?

38 Your report must include: Death date or where your artist is currently residing.

39 Your report must include: WHAT IS THEIR IDENTIFYING MARK? How can you tell this artist’s work as soon as you see it?

40 Your report must include: What social and cultural influences affected the work of this artist?

41 Your report must include: Did this artist affect the history of mankind? How?

42 Your report must include: MEDIA USED BY ARTIST Did they use watercolor, or oils, or pencil, or computer animation, or marble, or…….?

43 Your report must include: AT LEAST TEN EXAMPLES OF THEIR WORK In color!!

44 Putting it all together Type up final draft of report or information on brochure, picture board, etc. Include at least 10 examples of work. Display report and/or give oral report. Read and report on all other student’s reports.
