25 “Each year after our forum, the Pierce College community is aware and vigilant around the issue of Domestic Violence. In my classes we discussed the forum as well as our personal experiences with Domestic Violence and how we can all be active citizens in the battle against Domestic Violence. I am always amazed and saddened by the number of students who have been and are currently involved in Domestic Violence situations. This year, a number of students came out as victims, a few came out as fearing they may be or have been perpetrators, and a couple of people completely changed their career focus due to the forum.” – Bobi Foster-Grahler (faculty, Criminal Justice)
