Yoga – Floor Poses The following poses can be used to calm students after a high velocity activity

Fold body into a ball with head down and arms by your side. Breathe for a count of 10.

Place hands flat in front of you, head down and feet flat. Breathe to a count of 10.

Get on belly leaving legs long behind you. Push up on flat hands and arch back. Breathe for 10.

On belly reach out with both arms either side while keeping head and legs up. Breathe for 10.
6
Reach back and hold feet or legs with two hands while on belly. Breathe and count to 10.
7
Sit up tall with legs out to the side grasp feet and hold. Breathe to count of 10.
