A Way With Words 1.Divide into 3 groups. 2.Group 1 – read pages i, ii, iii, iv, v, up to the beginning of ‘3’ (half way on page v) Group 2 – read pages i, v (from ‘3 Targeted Teaching of Word-Learning Strategies’), vi, vii to the beginning of ‘4’. Group 3 – read pages i, vii (From ‘4 Using Word Parts to arrive …..’), viii, ix and x 3.Report back to large group 4.Discuss: What implications does this have for teaching Spelling and Vocabulary in my class?
