Example: A record is spinning at the rate of 25 rpm.
If a ladybug is sitting 10 cm from the center of the record: What is the angular velocity of the ladybug? What is the speed of the ladybug (in cm/sec)? After 20 seconds, how far has the ladybut traveled? After 20 seconds, what angle has the ladybug turned through?

example Tires on a car revolve at 500 rpm. If the diameters of the tires are 30 inches, find the linear speed of the car in mph. (63,360 inches = 1 mile)
