TiO2 has been here as long as the earth has been here. Its is one of the top 50 chemicals produced world wide It comes in two forms: Rutile and Anatase

3. Some interesting facts on Titanium Dioxide. It is used in big industries such as paint, printing ink, rubber, glass, cosmetics, soap, plastics and paper. It is also used in toothpaste and sunscreen. Appearance: White Powder. Odor: Odorless. Solubility: Insoluble in water. Specific Gravity: 4.26 Boiling Point: 2500 - 3000C (4532 - 5432F) Melting Point: 1855C (3371F) IT MAY BE CANCEROUS!! They are not sure yet though.
