GM 12C—Meal Pattern Requirements Eating / Feeding Disabilities Broadens meaning of “person with a disability” by adding the category of "Major Bodily Functions“ to "Major Life Activities” Clarifies that agencies are required to purchase and supply substitutions and modifications for meals served to children with disabilities that restrict their diets. If physician-prescribed supplements are not part of the substitutions made within the standard meal patterns, agencies are not required to purchase the supplement as part of the meals served to children with disabilities http://fns.dpi.wi.gov/fns_centermemos

Household Size Income Statements Update Household Size Income Statements (HSIS) Best practice Obtain new HSIS for all enrolled children at the same time each year (October, start of new FY, is best time to do this) Calculate household income to an annual amount when different pay frequencies are recorded Refer to “Yearly” column on Household Size Income Scale Child Care Centers, Outside of School Hour Care Sites
