4. Incident Command System If you are first arriving unit, assume command Scene size-up Declare an MCI Request appropriate resources Choose the staging area Choose the treatment area(s) Coordinate with other agencies Continue command role until relieved 48-4

5. Incident Command System If you respond to an MCI where the ICS has been established: –Report to the command post –Identify the Incident Commander Identify yourself and your level of training –Follow directions given by the Incident Commander 48-5
