The Law of Intuition Leaders Evaluate Everything with a Leadership Bias 1 Chronicles 12:32 “200 chiefs from the tribe of Issachar, who understood the times and knew what Israel should do, with all their relatives under their command”

Discussion (in groups of 3 or 4) a)The leaders from Issachar understood the times in which Israel was living. How well do you understand the circumstances and situations that you and your team, or organization, are facing? b)The leaders from Issachar also knew what they should so about the circumstances and situations they were facing. Do you know what you and your team, or organization, should do about the circumstances you are facing?

Discussion (in groups of 3 or 4) a)Moses was a new leader who did not yet know how to see things from a leadership perspective. Have you ever looked at a situation or problem and not been able to see the solution? What happened in that situation? b)Moses was teachable. When Jethro gave him leadership wisdom, he listened and put it into practice. Are you teachable in your leadership? Do you listen when those wiser than you speak?

What Do We Learn From Jethro? 1. Who you are is what you see. 2. Intuitive leaders are readers. 3. A leader’s intuition can add value to others. 4. Your leadership intuition can be increased.

Intuitive leaders are readers Like all intuitive leaders, Jethro was a reader of various things… 1. He read the Situation 2. He read the Trend 3. He read the Resources 4. He read the People 5. He read Himself

Discussion (in groups of 3 or 4) a)We have learned that who we are determines how we see things. How do your gifts and talents shape your view of life? b)Intuitive leaders have the ability to read situations, trends, resources, people and themselves. Do you see leadership issues before others do? Or, do others see them before you do?

A leader’s intuition can add value to others Intuitive leaders provide what others can not. Here are five ways they see and what they provide… 1. They see differently – they provide correction 2. They see the big picture – they provide direction 3. They see clearly – they provide structure

Your leadership intuition can be increased Moses was not a natural leader like Jethro was. Here are some things he did to grow as a leader: 1. He became a man of prayer 2. He communicated personally with the people 3. He laid out the vision
