The request is automatically removed from the queue. –Previously staff had to manually assign a code.

Current web applications use old technology (Java 1.4.2, Custom framework, tomcat 5.5.23 …) Difficult to extend functionalities Bug fixes take longer time and increasing duplication of code Limitations because the dependent toolset have moved to Java 5 and above Performance – server resources utilization and response times

Shared systems Delivery Email template for library requests – can now be configured by each library in shared system Request Processing/Loan Tracking – now display supply and loan code appropriate for the request Loan Notices for loans between member libraries. Notices will only be sent from the Borrowing library to the patron.
