Begin now! An early start leads to increased proficiency. Levels I and II at the Middle School are your first two years of high school credit towards your requirements of World Languages and Cultures for an advance diploma The student should select a language about which he or she is enthusiastic. There is no “best language” to take.

ASL and Chinese not offered here at Champe, but students interested in this option are bussed to Freedom HS. ASL/Chinese Sequence: ◦ Grade 9: level I ◦ Grade 10: level II ◦ Grade 11: level III

Encourage your child to register for a language about which he or she is enthusiastic and excited. This will lead to increased success in high school and beyond.
