2 The Titans  In Greek mythology the Titans descended from the very first group of Gods that came into existence.  They were very strong giants and immortal.  The Titans ruled the world before the Olympians.  The very first Titans were Gaea (representing Earth) and Uranus (representing the sky or heaven). They gave birth to 12 titans: 6 male, 6 female.

5 Helios facts ( Ἥ λιος (H ḗ lios))  He is the son of Hyperion (Titan God of light), and Theia (Titan goddess of shining).  He is the Titan of sun and sunlight.  He can see anyone or anything he wishes on the Earth, in the sea or in heaven.  You could often find him in the middle of the sun or creating monsters from taking a bit of fire from the sun and saying something like: “I want a dragon”.  He travelled in a golden chariot drawn by 4 winged horses called : Aetheon, Pyrois, Phlegon and Eous.  Once one of his sons called Phaeton tried to drive his chariot but lost control, crashed and set the Earth on fire.
