9 Recommendations Teacher recommendations are indicated on registration form. If you would like your child to be placed in a different level, please speak with the current teacher or the resource teacher. Write letter of request and attach to registration card.

12 Course Decisions Regarding recommendations: Open enrollment exists for honors and AP courses. Students need to be aware of the expectations and time commitment of the courses chosen. Be sure that alternative elective courses are listed in the event that a student is not able to take the requested courses listed.

13 Registration Directions USE PENCIL and please print clearly. Select courses for BOTH semesters (14 total) AND two alternative classes. Provide course title and course number for each selection. Complete personal information with current information. Feel free to consult with current teachers and counselors to determine appropriate classes. Talk with your student as you choose classes.

14 Plan for Success Consider post-high school plans and what is needed to fulfill these plans. Enroll in challenging courses. Get help when needed. Develop good study habits. Take advantage of school resources, such as tutoring with teachers and qualified students.

15 Extracurricular Activities Eligibility is an unweighted GPA of 2.0 and no more than one E If you don’t like sports, we have lots of other activities, such as music, theater, SGA, and Best Buddies! You must have a completed physical from your doctor to try out for any sports team Get Involved!!! QO has many options so you can definitely find something that suits your interests!
