FACT Overview What is FACT? FACT is the Formative Assessment for California Teachers. What are the foundations of FACT? The foundation of FACT are: California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP) Standards of Quality and Effectiveness for Professional Teacher Induction Programs (Induction Standards) K-12 Academic Content Standards for Students and California Frameworks Evidence

How is FACT structured? Context for Teaching PTs will learn about their environment and the resources and challenges it offers. Assessment of Teaching and Learning Linking teacher preparation knowledge, CSTP and Induction Standards based, classroom observations Reflections on Teaching and Learning Inquiry into Teaching and Learning (IIP Embedded Across) PTs will explore aspects of their teaching practice.
