Welcome to St Mary’s
4
All People that on Earth do Dwell, sing to the Lord with cheerful voice. Him serve with mirth, His praise forth tell; come ye before Him and rejoice.
5
Know that the Lord is God indeed; without our aid He did us make; we are His folk, He doth us feed, and for His sheep He doth us take.
6
O enter then His gates with praise; approach with joy His courts unto; praise, laud, and bless His name always, for it is seemly so to do.
7
For why? the Lord our God is good; His mercy is forever sure;
His truth at all times firmly stood, and shall from age to age endure. George Herbert CCL No

A Small Garden
11
A Small Garden I have a small garden, at last. I have lived with a window box all my life but today, here, now, I have a small garden at last. I can grow my own vegetables and fruit. I can nurture flowers that sing in the sunshine. I can give the neighbourhood a feast of gorgeous fragrances. I have a small garden at last.
12
A Small Garden A year has passed and my garden is not big enough for the flowers I want and the design I need. My neighbour's garden is bigger than mine. I have a small garden, unfortunately.
15
Loving God, we are drawn to your energy, but we want you to judge everyone else and leave us alone. But you, loving God, are compassion itself. You care for the smallest and those who feel least important. You are tender with us when we make mistakes. You are loving and embracing.
16
We ask forgiveness and you offer us a welcome
We ask forgiveness and you offer us a welcome. We are filled with remorse and you wipe away our angry tears. We speak and you listen We sulk and you draw us back Amen.

— and give him some wealth.
Ahab the King looked out one day
and saw a vineyard, just over the way.
I’d like that land, he said to himself,
I’ll just tell Naboth — and give him some wealth.
32
But Naboth said, ‘Oh no, no, no, I want my vineyard I love it so’
But Naboth said, ‘Oh no, no, no, I want my vineyard I love it so’. Ahab went home and he threw a paddy, ‘I want that land! Naboth’s such a baddy!’
33
Jez, the Queen, she sorted it out
Jez, the Queen, she sorted it out. Soon Naboth was dead: she used Ahab’s clout. ‘It’s yours now, honey,’ she said to the King. ‘Didn’t cost no money, didn’t pay a thing!’
34
But God was watching and he told Elijah, ‘Go sort out Ahab, though he won’t thank ya’. ‘You’re doomed now, Ahab,’ Elijah told the King. ‘Even though you plot in secret, God sees every thing.’

In works of sovereign power Come shake the earth again;
Restore, O Lord, The honour of Your name, In works of sovereign power Come shake the earth again; That men may see And come with reverent fear To the living God, Whose kingdom shall outlast the years.
53
In all the earth Your fame, And in our time revive
Restore, O Lord, In all the earth Your fame, And in our time revive The church that bears Your name. And in Your anger, Lord, remember mercy, O living God, Whose mercy shall outlast the years.

Where we are hard and cold, In Your refiner’s fire
Bend us, O Lord, Where we are hard and cold, In Your refiner’s fire Come purify the gold. Though suffering comes And evil crouches near, Still our living God Is reigning, He is reigning here.

63
Lead me, Lord in your rigteousness
64
Our Father in heaven Hallowed be Your name Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as in heaven Give us today our daily bread Forgive us our sins As we forgive those who sin against us Lead us not into temptation But deliver us from evil For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
66
The Lord’s my Shepherd, I’ll not want.
He makes me lie in pastures green. He leads me by the still, still waters, His goodness restores my soul. And I will trust in you alone. For your endless mercy follows me, Your goodness will lead me home.
67
He guides my ways in righteousness, And he anoints my head with oil,
And my cup it overflows with joy, I feast on his pure delights. And I will trust in you alone. For your endless mercy follows me, Your goodness will lead me home.
68
And though I walk the darkest path, I will not fear the evil one,
For you are with me, and your rod and staff Are the comfort I need to know. And I will trust in you alone. For your endless mercy follows me, Your goodness will lead me home.
