CIRCLE (noun): a completely round flat shape The plane made circles around the airport

OUTER CIRCLE (adjective+noun): The bigger circle that forms the outside of something The outer circle is the outside of the tyre.

INNER CIRCLE (adjective+noun): The smaller circle that forms the inside of something The teacher made two circles, and now the inner circle is speaking.
