10 Length of studies Options The English Program generally takes three years of study. Active attendance in classes = 29 annual hours Distance Learning = 4 annual hours Seminar project = 1 annual hour Students set their own pace in distance learning courses. Counseling is offered by e-mail and face-to-face by appointment. Students with high grades can shorten their studies through independent study.

11 Finishing Completing requirements Students need passing grades in all components of the Program. Basic Course Requirements Active attendance Assignments Examinations in some courses Practice Teaching Tutoring, observation tasks, supervised teaching Portfolio (each semester) Final Project

12 Finishing Grades Minimal requirements for a B.Ed. and Teaching Certificate At least 70 Proficiency English Mastery Practice Teaching The Final Project At least 60 Linguistics Applied Linguistics Education courses for teaching English

13 Finishing Recommendations Warm recommendations are given to inspectors and principals for students who demonstrate Good English Mastery Excellence in Practice Teaching High values and character traits
