HUD-XCRI Project Outcomes XCRI-CAP suitable for data held in the central IPP system. Data held in schools (short course / CPD data) requires in-depth action with each school. Technical and non-technical managers and senior managers are in favour of the project. A server has been purchased to act as a data repository. University of Bolton’s XCRI-CAP schema fits the University of Huddersfield’s technical infrastructure.

HUD-XCRI led to WYLLN… 1.Working with the University of Huddersfield to implement XCRI-CAP 1.1. 2.Working with regional partners to help promote and implement XCRI-CAP at FE and HE institutes across West Yorkshire. Aiming to create a unified course directory for learners and employers. 3.Working with non-partners to investigate ways XCRI- CAP can benefit them in regards to the 14-19 Area Prospectus.

Aspire-i manage Bradford’s 14-19 Area Prospectus. Aim to have an example XCRI output for each major type of education provider in the Bradford area. Dissemination event (breakfast meeting) to be held for small number of schools in October. Bradford split into 3 education confederations (Three Valleys, Central, South): 1 school from each confederation to be “recruited”. 1 Training Provider from Bradford to be “recruited”. Benefits the cross-border courses information exchange for the area prospectus and CAP initiative. Bradford – Aspire-i XCRI mini project

One year from now WYLLN will have… Generated XCRI-CAP output for 2 Universities (14 schools), 4 Colleges, 3 Secondary Schools and hopefully 1 Training Provider. Aggregated XCRI-CAP output from the West Yorkshire region on a single database server. Created a working example of how the Bradford 14-19 Area Prospectus will benefit from XCRI. Raised more awareness of the XCRI movement.
