3 World Population Comparison 1.The country that has the largest population is China. I think that this country has the largest population because of its large size. 2.The country that has the smallest/lowest population is Barbados. I think that this is because it is a small island, rather than a large country like China. 3.The countries that are ranked fifth and sixth are Russia (fifth) and the United Kingdom (sixth). The United Kingdom is a developed country and Russia is a developing country. I think that they are where they are in the rankings because they both have high literacy rates and high physician densities. This will make more people want to move there, since they know that there are many doctors and a good educational system. 4.The countries that are ranked seventh and eighth are Afghanistan and Bahamas. These countries are both developing countries. I think that in order to get to the top half of the rankings, Afghanistan should try to raise its literacy rates. Also, I think that both countries should hire more doctors. 5.Another country (other than the US) that stands out to me on the chart is the United Kingdom. The UK has a population of 63,047,162. It also has the third highest GDP ($2.288 trillion) and the second highest GDP Per Capita ($36,500). The UK has a physician density of 2.739/1,000 (which is ranked first) and a literacy rate of 99% (which is the same as the US).

5 World Oil Consumption Comparison 1.The country that has the largest oil consumption is the United States. I think that this country has the highest amount because it has the highest GPD per capita ($48,300) and a large population. Therefore, there is more money for people to spend on oil, and more people to buy oil. 2.The country that has the lowest oil consumption is Afghanistan. Afghanistan has an oil consumption rate of 4,229 barrels per day. I think that this country has the lowest amount because is has the lowest GPD per capita ($1,000). Therefore, there is not as much money for people to spend on oil products. 3.The fifth and sixth ranked countries are Brazil (fifth) and the United Kingdom (sixth). I think that they are where they are in the rankings because they both have high Gross Domestic Product rates, therefore, there is more money to spend on oil products. 4.The seventh and eighth ranked countries are Bahamas (seventh) and Barbados (eighth). I think that these countries are where they are in the rankings because they have lower GDP Per Capita rates. Therefore, there is less money for people to spend on oil and oil products. 5.Another country (other than the US) that stands out to me on the chart is China. China has the largest population on the chart. Therefore, there are more people to buy oil and oil products.

7 World Internet Users Comparison 1.The country that has the largest amount of internet users is China. I think that this is because China has the largest population in the world. Therefore, there are more people to use the Internet. Also, China has a lot of technology available as it is a highly developed country. 2.The country that has the smallest amount of Internet users is the Bahamas. I think that this country has such a low rate is because it has the second smallest population on the chart. Therefore, there are less people to use the Internet. Also, the Bahamas is an island, and they may not have the luxuries that we do when it comes to electronics. 3.The fifth and sixth ranked countries are the UK (fifth) and Russia (sixth). The UK is a developed country and Russia is a developing country. I think that they are where they are in the rankings because they both have large populations. Also, they both have high GDP Per Capita rates, therefore there is more money for people to buy luxuries, such as electronics. 4.The seventh and eighth ranked countries are Afghanistan (seventh) and Barbados (eighth). Afghanistan is a developing country and Barbados is a developed country. I think that in order to get to the top half of the rankings, Afghanistan should try to get a higher GDP Per Capita. Because there is a low GPD Per Capita, there is not as much money for people to spend on electronic luxuries. Also, since Barbados is an island with a low population, there is not money to spend on electronics. 5.Another country (other than the US) that stands out to me on the chart is India. This country stands out to me because although it is a developing country, it still has the third highest ranked amount of internet users (61.338 million). I think that this is because they have a high gross domestic product ($1.798 trillion).
