3 3 Realistic: The Doers Do jobs that produce tangible results, concrete Work with their hands, tools, machines Generally described as practical, physically strong, rugged, adventurous, self-reliant

4 4 Realistic What kind of car might they drive? Chevy Truck, 4-wheel SUV, Jeep What kind of vacation would they take? Camping, fishing, golf school What do they read? Western and adventure novels, home repair booklets, ESPN magazine

5 5 Investigative: The Thinkers Problem-solvers Interpret data/information Generally do well in math and science Described as curious, independent, rational, self-motivated, analytical

6 6 Investigative What kind of car might they drive? Bicycle, Volvo, “Hybrid” What kind of vacation would they take? Archeological dig, space camp, African Safari What do they read? Scientific journals, real-life crime novels, consumer reports

11 11 Enterprising-The Persuaders Enjoy working with people and leading them to an organizational goal Enjoy leading committees, groups, organizations Seek positions of leadership, power, status Generally described as persuasive, adventurous, competitive, risk-takers Are motivated by networking and collaborating
