This is Ferenc Puskàs (1927-2006), forward for Honvéd, captain of Hungary and later a star for Real Madrid. In the early 50s he lead the great Hungarian team that famously defeated England at Wembley 6-3 in 1953 (thereby becoming the first overseas team ever to defeat the Founder Nation at home), but could not quite win the World Cup in 1954 – they lost to West Germany in the final.
