Resurrection and the Tree of Life b The Olive trees and Palm trees - the ugly tree of crucifixion - b to the vision of the Tree of Life - Resurrection tops them all! b Adam and Eve’s descendants got cut off from fellowship with God because of the curse b brokenness, pain, disease, trouble, difficulty, struggles, and problems - we know the curse b Jesus gave his life to redeem us from the curse

Resurrection and the Tree of Life b Jesus turned ugly tree of the cross into the beautiful Tree of Life. b Revelation 22 a beautiful glimpse into eternity b pure flow from the throne of God and the Lamb b river and Tree giving eternal life from God and the Lamb. b Tree/River = life in heaven accessible to all! b 12 crops of fruit= God provide nourishment

Resurrection and the Tree of Life b Leaves = total whole life healthiness b “No longer will there be any curse.” b Meaning of Easter is in John’s view of Heaven. b In the city of our God b -by the river of the water of life b -around the tree of life b -We will see his face –uninterrupted – forever! b This is as certain as that we are here!

Resurrection and the Tree of Life b Certainly Jesus “has risen, just as he said.” b there will no longer be any curse. b Jesus asked Mary, “Why are you crying? Who is it you’re looking for?” b When in trouble we’re looking for Jesus b We share His resurrection and victory over sin b Whatever comes our way, we’re looking to you, Lord Jesus!”
