Timeline of implementation : Autumn Spring Summer Developing an ‘expert group’ 1 st meeting – explored materials, website, used training materials to trial process, identified target children. 2 nd meeting – examined evidence, used APP grids and identified individual’s next steps as a group. 3 rd meeting - moderated judgements, reviewed process and impact, agreed next steps. Continuing to develop ‘expert group’ New target children selected. Meeting - to moderate assessments ‘Planning prompts’ distributed to all staff and supported to use when planning. APP introduced to all staff. (5 staff meetings) Staff in 2 groups led by members of the original team. Staff supported to work through the same process.

Spring APP grids introduced to staff as planning prompts Planning workshops with members of SMT ‘Expert’ group chose new children and moderated judgements with focus on U&A Staff meetings addressed subject knowledge issues around U&A
