GCSE Examinations First exam is on the 12 th May That is 19 days until your child’s first Exam Less than 3 weeks to go Over the Easter holidays your child should have started their preparation for this

Study Leave During Exams there is an expectations that pupils still come into school. They will be provided with an area where they can study In some cases particularly Maths, some lessons will still continue

What you Child needs A quite place to study Your support and guidance Stationary and equipment i.e. flash cards, calculators, revision guides. Ensure they have a SET routine A revision timetable

During the next two months Important to understand pupils are going to be incredibly stressed Most pupils have between 12-15 exams On average they will have 1 exam per day from the 12 th May until ½ term

Important Dates Final Exam is the 23/6/14 Sixth form induction week 1 st July – 4 th July GCSE results day Thursday 21 st August Sixth form enrolment W/c 25 th August

Sixth Form All pupils at Hendon have a place in the 6 th form The courses they wish to study will be dependent on time tabling and the grades they receive from their upcoming GCSE’s
